A Crazy idea..Hand painted with Gouache on 140lb paper.

Yes I know….this looks wild…Barbarella and Godzilla. But why not? Maybe he becomes infatuated with her and calms down a bit. An unlikely romance. Beauty and the king of monsters.

I was looking for a new idea and a shop keeper I know said…why not paint God zilla or Audrey heburn or Barbarella? 💡 Moment….Sorry Audrey Barbarella got in first on this one. 

A few days later I planned this out and then got to work on it. Barbarella has the following, a new look, hair, boots, costume, gun, space ship and Godzilla looks a bit older and more friendly with a few teeth missing. I love the Magic of old film and comic covers. From time to time I have a go at making new ones.  If this painting made you smile then you’ve received a happier moment in your day. We all deserve that.
